Terms of Service

talkminutes.ai provides AI-powered transcription and meeting summarization. You upload audio (or email it to audio@talkminutes.ai), we transcribe and summarize it, you receive the result by email. The service is pay-per-use; no subscriptions.

You confirm that you have the legal right to record and process the audio you submit. You will not submit audio that infringes copyright, violates wiretapping laws, contains illegal content, or was obtained without consent of identifiable individuals where such consent is required by applicable law. We reserve the right to refuse processing of any submission at our discretion.

Pricing is displayed in your local currency (EUR, USD, CZK, GBP, SEK) and is tax-inclusive (VAT/Sales Tax handled via Stripe Tax automatic calculation). Payment is processed by Stripe at the time of unlock. We charge per 30-minute block, rounded up. Quote is shown before payment.

Technical failures (transcription crashed, file corrupted, wrong language detected, transcription length significantly lower than audio length): automatic full refund within 24 hours, no action required. Quality concerns: forward the delivery email to albert@talkminutes.ai within 7 days. The founder reviews each case personally. If the transcript quality is genuinely poor, we refund via Stripe within 24 hours.

As a digital service performed within minutes of payment, you expressly waive your 14-day withdrawal right under Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU upon initiating the unlock. This is standard for instant-delivery digital services. Refunds for technical failures and quality complaints remain available per section 4.

Audio is deleted within 60 seconds of preview processing. Transcripts and summaries are deleted within 60 minutes of the delivery email. Your email is the permanent archive, save the files locally. We cannot recover deleted transcripts.

We aim for high uptime but do not provide an SLA. talkminutes.ai is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our maximum liability for any direct claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.

Either party may end the relationship at any time. There is no account to close. If you have unredeemed paid-but-unprocessed jobs, contact albert@talkminutes.ai for a refund.

These terms are governed by Czech law. Disputes will be resolved by the courts of Prague, Czech Republic. EU consumers retain the right to bring action in their country of residence under EU consumer protection law.
